Article #29994: 'Drive C: does not exist. Please verify the correct drive was given' when trying to import slip activation file
Problem:
When trying to register Delphi on a Windows 98 or Windows ME machine you receive the 'Drive C: does not exist. Please verify the correct drive was given' error after browsing to and opening your activation file.
Answer:
There is a small bug in the CLX TOpenDialog which is used in the registration wizard. This error only surfaces on Windows 98 or Windows ME machines. To get around this just type the path to the activation file in the edit box rather than clicking the ellipsis to open the TOpenDialog box.
