Question: I am trying to install Turbo C++ 3.0 from the Turbo Suite CD,
but I keep getting a "Path Not Found" error. I'm following the instructions in the
installation text file. What am I doing wrong?
Answer: During installation of Turco C++ 3.0, three dialogs will appear requesting install information.
The first dialog requests the source drive. Type the drive letter of your CD rom drive, typically "D" (without quotes), and press Enter.
The next dialog requests the source path, meaning the directory on the CD where installation files are located. Unless you've browsed the CD beforehand the source path will not be obvious to you. Type "turboc30" (without quotes) and press Enter.
The third and final dialog controls the destination path for Turbo C++. Highlight "Directories"
and press Enter. Then highlight "Turbo C++ Directory:" and press Enter. Input a valid installation path, including drive letter, and press Enter. Generally, "C:\TC" will suffice. Once the installation path is changed, press Escape to return to the previous dialog box.
Highlight "Start Installation" and press Enter to finally begin the installation.
