Each time I try to install, the installshield gets about 40% or so, and then crashes. It only says that setup is having an error decompressing and copying files. I have plenty of hard disk space. Answer: 1. Check to see if the hard drive is partitioned. If it is partitioned, check to see if they have enough free space for installshield to copy its temporary files. if it is not partitioned and they have plenty of space. 2.try it in safe mode if that doesn't work, 3. have them delete their c:\temp directory and their c:\windows\temp directory. It's possible that there is a corrupt file in that directory that is not allowing the installation to proceed. 7/2/98 10:32:32 AM
