Question and Answer Database FAQ4325C.txt :Saving the desktop settings. Category :IDE Platform :Win95/NT Product :C++Builder1.0, C++Builder3.x, C++Builder4.x, Question: How do I make the IDE save my settings so it looks like the last project that I worked on? Answer: It depends on what you mean. If you want a certain default look to the desktop for every new project you create: 1.Close down all projects. 2.Go to Project Options. 3.Select the default values that you would like to have. 4.Go to Tools -> Environment Options -> Prefrences. 5.Under autosave options, click 'Desktop'. 6.Arrange all your windows as you would like to see them. The next time the compiler comes up, it will have this look. With the 'Desktop' set to autosave, whatever state you left the IDE in will come back up at next start. 2/9/1999 10:28:53 AM
