Question: I recently purchased C++ Builder 4.0 Profession Edition to do database programming. But when I try to use SQL links (Native Drivers), I get an error "Application was not enabled for use with this driver". Why am I getting this error? Answer: You cannot use SQL links (Native Drivers) with the Professional Edition. If you want to use the Native Drivers you will need to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition. To connect to the database with the Professional Edition, use the ODBC drivers. |
