Имеется TTreeView, который заполняется с помощью интерфейса ISellFolder. Как узнать, что очередная виртуальная папка является "Панелью инструментов", т.к. она в проге не нужна? Папки из сетевого окружения типа "C на BOSS" тоже не нужны, хотя они и не виртуальные. А вот виртуальная папка "Соседние компьютеры" очень даже нужна.
Определить это по имени папки нельзя, т.к. неизвестна локализация Винды, PIDL для этого тоже не подходит
А GetAttributesOf для всех виртуальных папок возвращает 0 ...
Может кто знает как определить тип папки?

SHGetSpecialFolderLocation
Retrieves a pointer to the ITEMIDLIST structure of a special folder.
HRESULT SHGetSpecialFolderLocation(

);
С помощью этой процедуры можно получить только ppidl, но никак не nFolder. А мне нужно наоборот (ppidl у меня уже есть).
Так что этот вариант не подходит

Слушай, я этой темой давно занимался, много забыл... но нельзя разве эти-самые ppidl'ы сравнивать? ppidl (кот у тебя уже есть) сравниваешь с ppidl'ом ненужной тебе папки (кот. можно легко получить).

А как ты хотел GetAttributesOf использовать? Просто в MSDN я замечал ф-ции, кот. (как там прямо было написано) аналогичны GetAttributesOf... |

Да, "Панель управления" на своём компе найти можно, с помощью IShellFolder::CompareIDs, но этот фокус не проходит с папаками "Принтеры" и "Назначенные задания" на каком либо из соседних компьютеров.

SHGetFileInfo возвращает теже самые атрибуты что и ShellFolder::GetAttributesOf.
Есть еще одна функция:
IShellFolder::GetUIObjectOf -> IQueryInfo::GetInfoFlags.
Но она пока не используется (по крайней мере так написано в моём MSDN от VisualStudio.NET), и, к тому же, там нет описания флагов...
И что тогда делать?
